Maryzark latest hit release “Kandila”

Maryzark is an Alternative five-piece rock band, they’ve been in the industry for more than a decade.

Here are the highlights of their career:

• Band’s 3 singles “Kai, Huli, and Sshhh” made it to Myx top 10 OPM  MV Charts.
• The first single “Kai” was included in PULP MAGAZINE’s top 100 OPM rock song of the Millennium.
• Maryzark is also part of PH WBOB line-up/playlist.

The single, “Kandila” depicts losing a loved one. It also carried a significant meaning for those who experienced losing a loved one during the pandemic. It’s a very personal song for the band. A fitting tribute to a great dad, friend, and mentor. It expresses love and gratitude for the loved ones we lost.

The first lines for every lyrics “Minsan pa” not only means “once more” but also a tip of the hat to the person the song is written for in this case is Axel’s dad Tito Alex.
